Coolboy Paint Stripping
Paint Stripping Coolboy
We have stripped paint, glue, lacquer, and other coverings from items ranging in size from the very small to three meter high doors and posts. Some of our clients down through the years have been household names, and they are well pleased with our work. After the paint has been stripped, we treat the wood, where wood is the material of the restoration project, with a natural oil layer, which causes the wood to glow with its richest colours. The proprietary paint stripping process we apply ensures that your fixtures are brought back to you better than new.
Warped wood after a bad paint strip is usually very difficult to repair, so you're best off not taking any chances. There's no reason to risk your irreplaceable antique furniture, doors and window frames with anyone else. An advantage older fixtures have is that they don't get the modern kiln drying, which can shorten the lifespan of the wood considerably, so it's usually a good idea to make the effort to restore them properly. Nothing beats the craftsmanship and skill of yesteryear, so we're focused on restoration while respecting and maintaining that level of quality. We get your doors back to you dry and safe, and usually very quickly, with an overnight or sometimes same-day turnaround in many cases.
With thirty years of experience in the business, your antique furniture or other project is in safe hands. Our quality is undisputed and we work with you to build a successful partnership.
