We have stripped paint, glue, lacquer, and other coverings from items ranging in size from the very small to three meter high doors and posts. After the paint has been stripped, we treat the wood, where wood is the material of the restoration project, with a natural oil layer, which causes the wood to glow with its richest colours.
We get your doors back to you dry and safe, and usually very quickly, with an overnight or sometimes same-day turnaround in many cases. Nothing beats the craftsmanship and skill of yesteryear, so we're focused on restoartion while respecting and maintaining that level of quality. There's no reason to risk your irreplaceable antique furniture, doors and window frames with anyone else. Warped wood after a bad paint strip is usually very difficult to repair, so you're best off not taking any chances. More recent doors won't have been made from a few solid pieces but rather combined from flakes and fragments of wood, unlike older doors.
