There's no reason to risk your irreplaceable antique furniture, doors and window frames with anyone else. We get your doors back to you dry and safe, and usually very quickly, with an overnight or sometimes same-day turnaround in many cases. More recent doors won't have been made from a few solid pieces but rather combined from flakes and fragments of wood, unlike older doors. An advantage older fixtures have is that they don't get the modern kiln drying, which can shorten the lifespan of the wood considerably, so it's usually a good idea to make the effort to restore them properly. Some of the doors we deal with are framed and plank wood Stuart doors, and six panel Georgian doors.
