An advantage older fixtures have is that they don't get the modern kiln drying, which can shorten the lifespan of the wood considerably, so it's usually a good idea to make the effort to restore them properly. We get your doors back to you dry and safe, and usually very quickly, with an overnight or sometimes same-day turnaround in many cases. It's important to be careful when selecting a paint stripper, as joints can crack and tighten and the wood can twist. Warped wood after a bad paint strip is usually very difficult to repair, so you're best off not taking any chances.
