Ballymore Paint Stripping
Paint Stripping Ballymore
The proprietary paint stripping process we apply ensures that your fixtures are brought back to you better than new. We have stripped paint, glue, lacquer, and other coverings from items ranging in size from the very small to three meter high doors and posts. The craftsmen in the Dipstrip team can undertake repairs on damaged doors, windows, and furniture for you. Whether dealing with large orders or small orders, we pay the same attention to detail that can be heard about from our long list of satisfied customers.
It's important to be careful when selecting a paint stripper, as joints can crack and tighten and the wood can twist. An advantage older fixtures have is that they don't get the modern kiln drying, which can shorten the lifespan of the wood considerably, so it's usually a good idea to make the effort to restore them properly. More recent doors won't have been made from a few solid pieces but rather combined from flakes and fragments of wood, unlike older doors. We keep your doors safe while ensuring a minimum exposure to our stripping process. There's no reason to risk your irreplaceable antique furniture, doors and window frames with anyone else.
With thirty years of experience in the business, your antique furniture or other project is in safe hands. Whether you're a member of the public or someone working with an organisation, we've got what it takes to restore your beloved furniture and fittings.
