Normally, the antique wooden doors we treat are of superb quality wood. More recent doors won't have been made from a few solid pieces but rather combined from flakes and fragments of wood, unlike older doors. Nothing beats the craftsmanship and skill of yesteryear, so we're focused on restoartion while respecting and maintaining that level of quality. Antique doors, windows and window frames would have been seasoned for many years, outside in the sun, to prevent cracking and warping.
