An advantage older fixtures have is that they don't get the modern kiln drying, which can shorten the lifespan of the wood considerably, so it's usually a good idea to make the effort to restore them properly. Some of the doors we deal with are framed and plank wood Stuart doors, and six panel Georgian doors. We keep your doors safe while ensuring a minimum exposure to our stripping process. And nobody has the experience and skill of Dipstrip at restoration and preservation!
